“The third installment of the Wereling series. Lucien and Alexa are trying to track down the Necrotroph who has invaded their organization with the help of the recently possessed Phillippa Tipsbury. Trey travels to Canada to meet his uncle and learn more about his family. What he learns might very well destroy him. This book sets the stage for the next installment very well. A series boys will thoroughly enjoy.”Iceangel9 wrote this review Monday, November 12, 2012. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No
“Trey Laporte thought he was the only one, the only werewolf in the world and the fact that he is an orphan. He was wrong. It was a lie told by his guardian Lucien so as to be safe from the evil forces of Caliban. But, the teenager had enough, had enough of fighting, had enough of werewolves, vampires, djinn,or anything supernatural. He wants to be reunited with his only living relative who is living in Canada, his uncle Frank Laporte. But, it was only when he arrived in Canada did he realise that his uncle is a drunkard and wants nothing better to do than drinking alcohol all day long(apparently he does not care about his nephew.) and that there is a secretive werewolf ''pack'' full of dangerous, bloodthirsty and vicious werewolves(none of those characteristics apply to Trey),who wants to recruit him to their pack. But importantly, how foolish of him to leave to Canada withot any friends, allies or bodyguards to protect from such dangers.Recently, he has been losing control of his powers only during a forced Change due to the mighty power of the full moon or when he is suffering from highly emotional stress, such as his ''berserker'' rage. But now, he has doubts.Nowdays, he has constantly been changing into a werewolf unintentionally and has no memory of what happened when he was in his werewolf state. Can Trey control his feral instincts? Can he be tamed? ”prem c wrote this review Saturday, July 2, 2011. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No
“Trey thought he was the only one. It was a lie. The last hereditary werewolf has found his pack - and they're vicious, bloodthirsty, and truly wild. Trey has had enough of vampires, demons and sorcerors. He needs to get in touch with his real family - the ones with fur, fangs and killer instincts. But the wolf pack howling at the moon in Canada is not what he expected. And without the protection of de-fanged vampire and demon-hunter Lucien Charron, the family secret is more dangerous than he ever knew. Trey's out of control. Can the werewolf be tamed?
