“The first time I read this was in 1977 to 1978. I didn't get it, so I put it on the bookshelf and didn't open it again until I was almost thirty years old. Oh my. This book blew me away and still continues to do so. It is one of my prized possessions along with my Bible. Wow. wow. The Lord really used Chambers and is still today.”

“This is a very heart-stirring book... especially for a daily devotional. It's an excellent way to start your day with a short and powerful reading. In 3 to 5 minutes you can have a great message to challenge you the entire day. I'm actually reading the "Classic Edition" instead of this "Updated Edition". Both are good.”

“By far, one of the greatest devotionals out there. The thoughts, ideas, and meditations in this book are eye-opening, heart-awakening, and intellectually stimulating. If you are a fast reader like me, you may have to read each day's devotional twice to fully grasp the idea.”
