  • Jock Gavin: He was brainwashed as a youngster into becoming a hired killer. He has rehabilitated himself with help from MacDuff and has grown a liking to Jane.
  • John MacDuff: A Scotsman who has helped Jock rehabilitate and has become like family to Jock and Jane.
  • Seth Caleb: "Hunter" that helps Jane find the killers
