Notes for Parents edit see section history

Reading Level: Ages 9-12

I would suggest caution on the part of parents letting children younger than high school age read this book because of swear words and a brief sex scene. I would say that the sex scene is not gratuitous and the language is most likely something high school students can read without being shocked about. Scenes depicting dog fights may be disturbing as well.
