Characters edit see section history

  • Percy Jackson: Perseus "Percy" Jackson is the main character of the series. He is a demigod, son of the god Poseidon, making him a very important and powerful demigod. He is currently the only known demigod child of Poseidon. His mortal parent is Sally Jackson.
  • Annabeth Chase: Annabeth Chase is a demigod. She is the daughter of Athena, and has inherited some of her wisdom, although she still has the standard condition of ADHD and dyslexia, the latter of which gives her difficulty in spelling sometimes. Annabeth, is tall, athletic and tanned, and has blonde, curly hair, and intimidating but 'pretty' grey eyes. When they first met (other than when Percy was slipping in and out of conciousness) She reminded Percy of a stereotypical Californian girl, but her eyes 'ruined the image'. Her life ambition is to become an architect, and she is fascinated by famous structures. Annabeth has a troubled history with her father, whom she ran away from when she was seven after he remarried.
  • Grover Underwood: Grover Underwood is a satyr and a friend of Percy Jackson. He was the individual who initially spotted Percy as a Half-Blood and brought him to Camp Half-Blood.
  • Chiron: A centaur who is the activities director at Camp Half-Blood. He has taught heroes since Ancient Greek times, as he was made immortal by the gods as long as he was needed as a teacher.
  • Zeus: King of the gods and Lord of the Sky. Zeus is a son of Kronos.
  • Tyson: Tyson is a Cyclops and a brother of Percy. His first appearance is in The Sea of Monsters.
  • Persephone: Godess of flowers and Demeter's daughter. She is the wife of Hades.
  • Mrs. O'leary: Percy's pet hellhound.
