“Too much of a Tolkien fan, so I am bias. If you read after seeing the films you will be surprisised by missing events and dialogue that is attributed to another character, don't give in though. It is fantastic

“ Frodo is so much better in the books than the movies”

It's too epic not to fall in love with the story. Middle Earth is the best setting and everything about it is imaginative. It's one of the original fantasies that so many others use nowadays and I love that about it.”

So much more detail in the book compared to the films, especially the journey to Mount Doom for Frodo & Sam and then the return to the Shire. Absolutely loved it.”

Yhe story takes place in the imaginary land of middle earth. Frodo (the main character) and his uncle Bilbo get conviced by a wizard to set out on a journey to Mordor to destroy the ring that Bilbo found long ago. After some time bilbo goes away somewhere because he is very old 111 years. Frodo needs to destroy the ring before it is to late. He goes through fantastic adventures.”

And the live-action movies based on the books were phenomenal at that as well!”
