Mr. Lincoln is the coolest principal his kids have ever seen. However, Eugene won't tolerate him or anyone else who is different. Mr. Lincoln refuses to give up on him. Noticing Eugene's love for birds, Mr. Lincoln gets Eugene involved in attracting birds to the school garden. Eugene soon reveals he is the way he is because his father is the same way. Eugene helps baby birds make it outside to swim with their parents, and Mr. Lincoln reunites Eugene with his grandfather. Later on, Eugene becomes a teacher.
