“This book grew on Dare overtime. There are very few words - so that wasn't the problem. I think it may have been that the illustrations didn't capture his attention. He seemed to like the "animal" books before he enjoyed the "people" books. At 15 months this is one of his favorites. The family has differing skin tones which is a nice change of pace. It's also nice to see a beach setting that is a bit more realistic. Good book!”
