Light, fun summer read. Nothing spectacular, the story was fairly predictable but still fun.

A decently well told story (certainly a quick read) - but not an amazing one. Her descriptions are occasionally cumbersome, her plot devices feel a bit forced, but more than anything the story and characters are predictable and convenient.

It's a heartbreaking story - but it almost seems the events themselves had to be drastic to compensate for a lack of subtlety in the characters and deftness in the writing.
