“Ayn Rand is an incredibly gifted writer, however I find her too verbose for my taste, sometimes taking 20 pages to describe something for which 2 pages would suffice, and repeating philosophical points over and over again. Both Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged were burdened with these liabilities and both books also portray Ayn Rand's philosophical outlook, which is infused with a blind faith in capitalism which I think is a bit too blind, but with all these faults, I still enjoyed reading both of them, which is a testament to her great talent as a writer.”
