  “Comprehensive, entertaining, and with some reverence for the subject matter. Pantheon has a great folklore series, and to date this has been my favorite. Probably some of the credit there goes to my sense of humor leaning toward the Irish side of things. All told, this is another in a wonderful series of collected stories that collects real folktales and presents them properly, without bowdlerization or "making it more accessible".”
