  • The Serpent: The Serpent is all-knowing, benevolent and kind; the figuration of justice and reason, and the protector of "pure" knowledge.
  • Eve: Eve wakes to find herself in The Garden, surrounded by its beauty and wonder, but lost, knowledge-less, and only has the Serpent as her mentor.
  • Adam: Adam, too, finds himself in The Garden. Only his mentor is much less of a teacher and more of an indoctrinator.
  • God: God created the world and The Garden, and has filled it with everything it needs. Everything, except something to keep God entertained...
