After seeing so many characters (major and minor) die, you become numb to it. I understand that DC was doing some Spring cleaning, but this was probably overkill.
The ending is worth the wait though.”
“Incredible mini-series. This story has almost ever DC hero and villian in it. The death of the first Flash, Barry Allen, is a keystone event in the DC universe. Highly recommended”

All other crossovers don't compare to this one. Infinite Crisis pales in comparions to this one tht relaunch and reviveda dying companies characters!”

As well as the original mint condition collectors item when it first came out in 1985-87. IMHO this is personally my favorite Comicbook story/maxiseries of all time.
The story is of epic proportions and reading about the history of the multiverse, universes living and dying, the death of the flash(silver age) and supergirl will suck you in emotionally.
As far as plotlines go and the depth of the characters, it is excellently done. I might add that the pencilling of George Perez is a sight to behold. I trully marvel at his work and i am proud to own a few framed posters of his. He is arguably the best if not one of the best pencillers in the business and of all time. The attention to detail alone leaves you breathless. Overall Marv Wolfman and George Perez did excellent work that is still enjoyable more than 20 years later.”
