Once again Anne's writing shows depth as does her characters, including The Kindred, who are The Blood Animals of Kaeleer. Seeing the interaction of Scelties with the humans and how the Scelties adopt people and then their interactions as well as some of the other Kindred who come to back up the Scelties is worth it's weight in Gold.”
