Although I disagree with him on some things, generally he makes very good points about pre-production, which some people just don't seem to understand and think it's a waste of time. I love his writing style. Very easy to read and humorous.

Alan Cooper is a well known software designer who is also known as the “father of Visual Basic.” If you develop software for a living and haven’t read this book, it’s worth a spin through it to rough up your brain a little.
