I inhaled this in one afternoon. Just wanted to know what happened next, and next and next...it is awesome to read about people with such great talents. You can learn a lot from his mistakes, from the life he led, from how things in childhood surfaced later on in his own life. You get to learn a bit about the different games he played..how he to play them and how he did it. Get's you fired up about being passionate about something you are doing. You realize how when you step in the stock market, a sports team, the poker table -- there are people who are much smarter than you, people who spend hours and hours at doing one thing.....and because of this are where they are now - think of buffett..you think he just casually read a few things here and there? Simply a great read - sit down for a few hours and you should get through it.

    * A bit of reading before you start: if you don't already know...see how bookies work, what spreads are, betting on the middle, poker rules - gambling in general - will make this a better read. All you of this you can pick up on wikipedia in 5 minutes.

Anyone know what's the difference between this book and The Man behind the Shades? http://www.shelfari.com/books/1442257/The-Man-Behind-the-Shades. I bought the other book, its the only one I saw in the bookstore I was in but later saw this one in another store. Should I get it too or are they basically the same?
