“Good tale, well told, as usual by Grimes. Could have done without a couple of the distractions, like the animal conversations, that to my mind add nothing, as do Melrose Plant and Joey. nice twist in story, though. Martha writes in that warm fuzzy way that old fashion murder mysteries tend to have, and even when she makes side trips to certain clubs and bars, she keeps it fun. if you like the last second to save the next victim 'thriller' style, steer clear. if you like a pleasant high quality read that plays like a five course meal served on good china at a gourmet freind's house, READ ON!”
