“This book has a special place in my heart. My friend Ky gave it to me, along with a spoon, a stick, and a crystal. I still have them.”

Yes | No“This was one of Robbins' older books I think and you could definitely tell with its Middle East focus that makes you recall the intifada of the 1980s. But Robbins' philosophical ramblings and quirky style is endearing and there is nothing bad you can say about a book whose main characters are a can of beans, a spoon, and a dirty sock. Not as good as "Jitterbug Perfume" in my opinion but I am going to keep reading Robbins.”
