  “This was an author I've read before for a thriller mystery. This book was a romance/time-travel tale set around revolutionary America and dealt with pirates. I thought it was an interesting tale and not as far-fetched as some time travel books are. I liked the characters and was not sure how the ending was going to conclude. ”

  “Own paperback with this cover, not hard cover. An older Linda Lael Miller book, published 1995. Time-travel romance. It was okay but not among the many favorites I have read by this author.”

  “A great time-travel story. Phoebe Turlow needs to get out of Seattle and books a cheap trip to Paradise Island. It is a Condo scheme and she is required to come to the costume ball at the end of the day. She is dressed as a pirate wench when she finds that the elevator has whisked her 200 years into the past. Here she finds Duncan Rourke, pirate or patriot? Great story”
