An intriguing double tale of reimagined history. With a playful premise and spunky female protagonists that delight, The Eight's take on historical characters and their "true" motivations is a pleasing journey through time.

did anyone else think that the ending was rushed & didn't fit with the rest of the book? i felt this could have easily been in my top 10 until i got to the end, and then i was so disappointed that i could cry.

I bought this book a few months ago and was surprised to see that it was written well before the DaVinci Code. It has that whole historical thriller aspect to it. I really liked it.

I loved this book when I read it like 3 years ago. My aunt lent it to me and I was fascinated, I would like to have it, but I think I'll ask her to lend it to me again to re-read it because I really like re-reading books, if I've liked a book I can read it over and over and never get bored
