• Wanda Wizzard: The daughter of Brenda and Barty. She is also the nosy and whiny best friend of Araminta.
• Maximilian Spookie: He had squinty eyes and a really pale face like he had never, ever been out in the sun. His shiny black hair was swept back and you could still see the comb marks in it. He was wearing a starched white collar, a tie and a buttoned-up jacket. He is Araminta's cousin.
• Sir Horace: The five hundred year old ghost who is in a suit of armor.
• Brenda Wizzard: The mother of Wanda. She is nosy like Aunt Tabby. She also owns a black cat.
• Barry Wizzard: The father of Wanda. He owns a lot of frogs and love them very much.
• Araminta Spookie: She is the protagonist in the story. She is the mischievous, adventure-loving niece of Uncle Drac and Aunt Tabby.
• Mathilda Spookie: She had long dark hair with black ribbons threaded through it. She look like an almost grown-up girl. She is Araminta's cousin.
• Aunt Tabitha/Tabby: The nosy aunt of Araminta who is allergic to cats.
• Uncle Drac: He is Araminta's uncle who was in a Bat Poo business but chose to have a knitting business instead. He loves bats, especially his biggest one named Big Bat.
• Pusskins: Brenda's lost cat.
• Emilene Spookie: She is the mother of Uncle Drac. She looks like the female version of Uncle Drac. There is a dead ferret dangling on her neck. She's Araminta's great-aunt.
• Perkins: He is Emiline's driver.
• Edmund: He is the ghost of the faithful page of Sir Horace.
• Fang: Sir Horace's faithful wolf cub.
