“Charlie is still on the run from the police.....and the Homelanders. He is determined to find out who killed his friend Alex because he knows that he didn't kill him. After being chased from the police, Charlie decides to go back to his hometown to find out who killed his friend. He goes to the Ghost Mansion because he knows that people don't do there anymore.....or not. His friends are all there waiting for him because his geeky friend, Josh, figured it out. They help him out and give him things like food, a laptop (so him and his friends can talk to each other), a sleeping bag, and a knife. With his friend's help, he can figure out who killed his friend. All of a sudden, he is in danger......and so is is girlfriend. You will have to read the book to find out if he solves who killed his friend and if he can save his own friend's life.”

“This was a great book! It is the second book in the homelander series and it did not disappoint. It is Charlie again and this time when the book starts out he is attacked right from the start. The only thing though was that it had a lot more flashbacks and I like the real time better, but if you like that though it will be much better for you. I don't want to give too much away because it is a really good book and I want you to read it.”

It is action packed from cover to cover. The police think he killed his best friend and he is a fugitive on the run. This book will keep you interested with every page. I really enjoyed reading it.”

It was very suspenseful because after every chapter there seemed to be a cliff hanger. I read the first book in the series, and this book certainly follows along with it. It was filled with action, and I found that this series really interests me. I would reccommend this book to anyone because it was that good, but i would say to read the first book.”
