“The finale of the Wake Trilogy was even more stagnant that the other two books. I found the trilogy a bit too flat than read excitingly. But, reading Janie's inner most thoughts about life and her "curse" makes me realise that no one gets it easily. Lisa definitely catches a teenager's emotions and feel.”

“GONE by: Lisa Mcmann. This book is about a 18 year old girl that has a strange ability to get into people's dreams when they sleep. She when has a dream and is a nightmare she goes completely numb. She also finds out about her father. How he has lived, who he was friends with, and what he did for a job. This story takes in a small town. What happens in the story that i liked the most was when she goes visit her father in the hospital she she sleeps there with him and she gets into his dreams to try to communicate with him. I found this book not a quick real because I read this one first before the first book WAKE and I really didn't understand at first but then I got it. My favorite character was Cabel. Because, he's always there for Janie and he always tries to help her even though she doesn't want the help. At the end of the book I do have hope for the characters because, Janie, thinks she can't stay with Cabel but she really can. I consider this book for both girls and boys because girls can enjoy this read and guys can learn from Cabel. Scale from 1-10 i rate this book a 10.”

Her father enters the picture only to die shortly after and we don't learn much about him. Her mother is still the drunk and make a scene at her fathers funeral. I wish Janie would have read the love letters because they would have added to the story. Rather boring but at least I only spent four hours on it. ”
