I'll start by saying I was really reallllly looking forward to reading this, probably to the point of setting myself up for disappointment. And disappointed I was. The story starts off nicely, Darcy and Elizabeth set off on their wedding tour straight away and it seems as though we'll get...

Es una lectura muy ligera, está basada en una historia romantica, en donde nos damos cuenta que el luchar por las cosas que más nos interesan siempre deja resultados satisfactorios

My daughter had bought it and with my obsession with all things P&P I couldn't resist at least attempting to read it - certainly different story line (duh!) - was okay, don't know if I'd put in on a sacred spot on my bookshelf next to P&P!! :-)

It is with great joy and surprise that I sit down to write this review, having just finished the book moments ago. I didn't know what to expect when I began this book- but found myself pleasantly surprised and even more astonished by the fact that this sequel did indeed seem plausible to me! A very entertaining read and one that I am sure I will read again in the future.
This Jane Austen enthusiast gives it two thumbs up.

it was weird yet addicting. I loved it! It gave a complete twist to the Pride and Prejudice book!

This book was absolutely horrible! The only reason it got one star was because it was based on a work by Jane Austen. Poor Lizzie! Such a strong female character in the original book turned into such a blithering idiot. The book was so bad that I couldn't put it down. I had to follow the train wreck through; I couldn't make myself look away. This is one book I would recommend people do not read!

I brought this book to read on my honeymoon, and it definitely lived up to my expectations as a good summer read. It's always interesting to look at some of your favorite characters in a different way. It was really fun to see Mr. Darcy as a "vampyre," and watch Elizabeth try to figure it out. My only complaint was I would've liked the ending to be a bit more climactic.

I was extremely apathetic and uninterested in this book when I began reading it right off the bat. The whole time I was not that excited about the plot, which was terrible; the events, which were uneventful; or, the characters, which had about the emotional depth of rocks. I remember thinking "Wait, isn't Elizabeth suppose to be a strong female character? That's what everyone keeps telling me about Austin's writing with her female characters."

The ending was weak and not remotely satisfying, and the book was not memorable. The only way I can see how this was such a successful series is because of the vampire craze going around. I have not read the first book, Mr. Darcy's Dairy, and I do not plan it. Don't go purchase this adaption. Its a crappy book. You can chose to ignore me if you like, but my decision remains firm to not let my friends read this mess.
