brilliant book....I could not really get into Garden State or even Purple America (though I've yet to give that a proper read)...but I've read The Ice Storm about six times...and will probably read it about one hundred more times before it starts to get old.

Not what I was expecting, but after hearing so much good word about Moody I had to pick it up. Thankfully I've not seen the film adaptation, and I'm sure it's OK, but you know where I'm going with this. Definitely feel like Moody takes a lot of his cues from Updike, what with the New England fear/sadness theme going on and everything.
