“My favorite quote in this book was "Can water turn into wine?" (pg 31). As I read through this quote, I remembered when my teacher once told me when Jesus changed water into wine. At this time, I disagreed with this unbelievable religious story of Jesus. In the book, it also said something that matched my thoughts about religion. My favorite scene in this book was when the main character Sophie stood in front of the mirror and wondering who she was. I found it interesting because her self...”

    “I saw the movie a which is a norwegian adaption called Sofies verden. It was shown in Australia as an eight part series. I was a great movie. I haven't read the book as of yet but I'm hoping it will be even better.”

    Maybe its not as scientific and technical as we would like to see it, but stop and rethink, its a novel not a school book.
    It tought me what philosophy is and how to use it in my life.
    Thats what other Philosophy books cannot.”

    (cheaper too, and you won't fall asleep as I did).
    Another book to read in a similar vein (but a deeper investigation into philopsophy) I would recommend is Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintanence. I read that one recently.”
