while not a bad read and certainly interesting for the slice of americana it represents, i now have personally lived through much of what is written of here...growing up in america "the land of the free" where i was not free, hated for being alive, hated, hated...so that now it surprisingly has nothing for me. it was like listening to a young man grouse about how his girlfriend talks too much to her friends...and i put the work that had me scared for years simply because it existed quietly aside.”
