  “Beautiful writing that truthfully shows how life takes sudden turns and we all have to make the best of it. The Namesake describes a cultural so beautiful even when americanized. The relationships between father and son, husband and wife, the past and the present are artistically drawn out. ”

  “A wonderful story of assimilation and moving into a foreign lands. It felt as if I'm reading "Interpreter of Maladies" all over again. But nonetheless, I enjoy her style of writing. The Unaccustomed Earth and Interpreter of Maladies are by far my favorites. ”
