Slightly predictable storyline, predictable characters, a narrative annoying in phases and achingly beautiful in others. The first chapter is good, and the last 2 pages moving. While the x-shaped universe got on my nerves, the time stilled at ten to two, the viable, diable age- was haunting. I liked the way the pronunciation was reflected in the spelling- Bar Nowl, Stoppit - showing children's learning mind.
Beginning with the tragedy, and ending with hope- naley- tomorrow, this is painfully beautiful.
