This is a wonderful story of his Mother and the close relationship they had and the pride she had for her son. “Definitely worth reading, whether you're from the South or North. Gives a different perspective of what it's like to grow up in the South.”

“He is an amazing writer, so this is a good read. But, there's very little plot, so it's not exactly thrilling. Still, if you love the deep south, or stories of reporters, this is interesting enough for a beach read. ”
