- Jason Blake: A 12 year old boy with Autism Spectrum Disorder. He is very intelligent but socially he has a lot of trouble. He is mainstreamed at school, but he sometimes has problems during his classes. He loves to write stories that he posts online.
- Mother: Jason's mom. She tries really hard to do her best for her son, but she has a hard time understanding him. She really wishes Jason could show her love, but he just is not capable of that.
- Phoenixbird or Rebecca: Jason's online "girlfriend". She is a writer too. She seems to like Jason a lot based on his stories.
- Dad: Jason's dad. He is strong and seems to understand Jason more than his mother. Jason can count on his dad whenever he needs him.
- Jeremy: Jason's brother. He is much younger that Jason. Jason likes to help his brother and they seem to get along pretty well even with Jason's autism.
- Aaron: Jason's friend when they were younger. Aaron is still very kind and friendly to Jason.
