Yes | No“If readers are looking for a surprising suspenseful book with unique characters that take you by surprise they should read Heist Society. The novel by Ally Carter is a mystery that has the most unique characters and unexpected twist. With Katarina the main character trying her hardest to get out of the family business of stealing only to create her own unique style of stealing with her close friends. It makes you appreciate the art of stealing even though its wrong. The well written and deep characteristics of each character makes you wish you had their life. This novel is a fun and gripping it is one you won't want to put down. This novel has a slow start but you soon grow to love the characters. Ally Carter use great use of imagination and details to make the reader feel like they are there experiencing it all in person. However this could be considered a cheesy and girly book that may be predictable at points. I recommend this novel to high school girls who enjoy mysteries and the back and forth love story. The Heist Society has a second book out right now and I sure hope a third one is on its way.”
