I just finished reading this book! Even before I started reading the Author's Note to the Readers, I was going to say that this book has taken me on a journey that I didn't have to pack for! Lord have mercy, (or should I say Lawd have mercy!)it took a long time for sunshine. But the sun did shine. Thank God for Prosper. I've heard it said that one can never go home again, but sometimes it is good to go home. This is a book that makes the reader take a look back at old relationships with family and friends and realize they love you in spite of yourself. Great read if you can get past the darkness.

The light will shine--they're just slow to find it...as are many families--we have heard from over the years!
