  • Thunderheart: A Grizzly Bear who is foalons 2 milk giver after a obea has tachen him away from his 2 sisters and his mum.
  • Shibaan: The Obea of the pack. It is her job to ensure the pack consists only of healthy wolves, and crippled wolves such as Faolan are put in a dangerous location by her, and left to die. All Obea wolves are chosen because they are infertile, or "Barren".
  • Gwynneth: A Rouge blacksmith owl.who is also foalons first friend in the beyond.
  • Duncan: Leader of the MacDuncan clan
  • Morag: Faolan's first and actual mother
  • Sark of the Slough: A wolf who is believed to have magical propeties.
  • Duncan MacDuncan: Duncan is the leader of the Clan MacDuncan
  • Angus MacAngus: Leader of the MacAngus clan.
  • Lupus: The wolf god
  • Hamish: Mean, gross
  • Heep: A gnaw wolf from the MacDuncan clan he is so humble he always says humble in each sentance.
