    When Henrietta's cells were taken for scientific use, there was no Hipaa laws in effect. Her sons attempted to gain money after the fact. Since there were no laws on gathering cells from patients back then, but there are laws in place now, is this past action ethical or not? Do you think the family should get some money for the "donation" of their mother's cells?
