“I personally did not enjoy this book. I understand most of the messages that Tim O'Brien was trying to convey through writing this, but I just did not find it pleasing to read (in detail) about people dying and girls wearing necklaces made out of human tongues. If I did not have to read this for school, I probably would have stopped reading in the first chapter. ”
