This book contains the stories of America's two biggest chocolate manufacturers and how they came to be. Started by two men of almost completely opposite personalities, both rose to greatness and defined "sweet" for the American people.

Historical, cultural and business account of the rise of the Hershey and Mars corporations and the two deftly different management and leadership styles of Milton Hershey and Frank Mars. Caution, have chocolate nearby as you cannot read this book without eating a few candy bars...both Hershey and Mars.

The Emperors of Chocolate Inside the Secret World of Hershey and Mar's Joel Glenn Brenner

Let me start out by saying if you are a chocoholic (like me) reading this book will make you want to go to the store and pick up bags of m and m's and Hershey Kisses. Now that I warned you, this was a fun history of Mars and Hershey's. Growing up in PA I visited Hershey PA a few times and always bought a big Hershey Kiss that would last ages. This book went into how Hershey Park came into existance, and how Mars and Hershey had once worked together. Really an interesting book on one of my favorite subject's: Chocolate!

This nonfiction book is so good it reads like a novel. If you love chocolate, history, and reading, this book has it all.

I only got through part of this book before I had to give it back, but it was pretty good.
