“Veronica Davis is home to sale the family saloon as fast as she can. She is also in Fossil Washington after the murder of her sister to take care of her niece. It looks like the ex-Special Forces Marine Cooper Blackstock who has taken over managing the saloon since her sister's death is doing a great job but he is also living in the attic which she could do without. The man makes her blood boil. What she doesn't realize is Coop is investigating the murder of her sister in order to clear his brother. Lizzy is his niece and hasn't seen him since she was a baby. So his mission is undercover. His brother dissapeared after the murder which makes him look guilty as hell. But he knows Eddie doesn't have it in him to kill a person. But aunt Ronnie as Lizzy calls her is getting under his skin. Or he wants to get under hers. ”
