• Francesca Del Ponce: is an ancient Carpathian woman who is a dedicated healer. She has hidden from her people for centuries and had achieved the ability to walk in the daylight.
• Gabriel Daratrazanoff: A Carpathian Male who is over two thousand years old. He is hunting is twin brother Lucian, who is thought to have turned vampire. Both brothers have been thought dead by their people for the past 500 years.
• Skyler Rose Thompson: one of Brice's patients; Francesca has healed her and discovered she has psychic abilities. She has been abused by her father, but now Francesca will look after her. She's psychic.
• Lucian Daratrazanoff: A Carpathian Male who is over two thousand years old. He is hunted by twin brother Lucian, who thinks he has turned vampire. Both brothers have been thought dead by their people for the past 500 years. Far more powerful than any other.
• Drusilla: Francesca's new housekeeper and cook; Skyler's daytime supervision; married to Santino.
• Santino: Drusilla's husband, groundskeeper, handyman, jack of all trades for Francesca.
• Brice Renaldo: a human doctor, interested in Francesca.
• Julian Savage: A Carpathian hunter. Aidan's twin. Not actually in this story.
• Chelsea Grant: a girl with cancer that Francesca healed, her father is a U.S. Senator and her family has called attention to Francesca's abilities.
• Jarrod Silva: he is Skyler's bodyguard.
• Barry Woods: a reporter interested in Francesca's healing powers. He is part of the society that hunts vampires and carpathians alike.
• Mikhail Dubrinsky: the Prince of the Carpathians and lifemate to Raven. Not actually in this book.
• Marvin Challot: he runs a shelter for homeless people. Francesca donates a lot of money to his shelter.
• Aidan Savage: A Carpathian hunter, Julian's twin. Lifemate to Alexandria. Not actually in this book.
• Dimitri: a Carpathian male; he is a writer and continues protecting wolves in a wildlife preserve in Russia. Not actually in this book.
• Gregori Daratrazanoff: He is called the "Dark One" and is one of the oldest and most powerful of the Carpathians, a great healer and hunter of their race. Friend to Prince Mikhail and lifemate to Savannah Dubrinsky. Not actually in this book.
