Really good so far! I suggest anyone who has a thing for vampire books to read it. some adult content.

LOVED this book! Can't wait until the second one arrives in my mailbox! Candace is strong, proud, but also sentimental and emotional. Ash plays on those emotions, but also has a soft spot. The author keeps you wanting more knowing they can't walk away from their desire for long.

It wasn't the best vamp book i've read.... was alright. I felt like it NEVER got out of the "first chapter" phase! by the time you finished it, you still felt like you never got to the "good parts".

She also did a lot of jumping back in time. Once is okay... but after about the 3rd time it gets a little old.

again, it was alright. I hope the next one in this series is better.

Passionate Thirst was OK. Even though I thought Candace and Ash made a good couple, the reason for not wanting to change didn't ring true. She knew what he was and went into it with her eyes open. Without giving anything away, I felt the mystery aspect was a bit contrived and I wished the author gave a more plausible reason for what was happening. It wasn't a total loss though because I want to read the next book.

This one was pretty good, except I kinda figured out the ending which I don't like to be able to do.

This is the first in the Candace Steele Vampire Killer trilogy. When I first picked this one up I thought hey I’ll give it a try as vampire books are at the top of my favorite list anytime. I was very surprised to find out how fresh and different Ms. Dean’s series is from the normal vampire verses vampire hunter books as of late.

Though it does follow the woman vamp hunter who is in love with the very thing she has sworn to destroy, it’s not tired and worn out in any since of the word. The thought that kept running through my mind as I read was this like Stephanie Plum as a vampire hunter.

This book really kept my interest from start to finish and I actually devoured it, I’m normally kind of a slow reader but I finished this in a day and a half which is highly unusual for me.

Candace Steele has started over she ran from a horrible past in San Francisco and now is living in the city of sin Las Vegas and working a high class casino as part of the security staff. But she isn’t just protecting the casino and it’s patrons from the average rowdy drunk or con artist. She’s also there to protect the community from vampires. She learned the hard way about their existence when she almost lost her life to one in San Francisco. The hard part was the vampire that almost killed her was the man she trusted and loved. Now scarred in both body and spirit she has sworn to rid the world of as many bloodsuckers as she can. But when Ash (her ex lover and the vamp in question) reappears in Vegas and wants to pick up where they left off can she deny the love they once shared or will she put an end to it once and for all?

This book is really worth the time and money funny, fresh, hot and exciting you don’t want to miss this new gem in vamp fiction.
