Reading Level: Young Adults

Young adults should be able to cope with the material in the book. There is a fair amount of discussion of past violence (one of the characters was a soldier in the Rhodesian civil war), and some sexual tension, but no overt acts of sex. Some coarse language. Not for "children," but junior/senior level high school students should be okay with it.
