“A collection of novellas featuring three different main characters who are somewhat related all seeking some resolution in their lives for Christmas. One year, Jane is seeking a new direction in her career and love life and finds herself facing a scarier future. The next year, Jane's sister Ricki discovers she already has everything she wishes for once she gets rid of some dead weight. The third year, Emma, a friend of both sisters finds herself pregnant but finds the news to be bittersweet. All three stories are then tied up in an epilogue.

It was a nice holiday read and one I will likely dust off every few years as it carries a nice message to it, even if it is a bit predictable at times.”
