Yes | No“I read this years ago and highly recommend it and Mary Karr's earlier memoir The Liar's Club that chronicles her earlier years. You should read that one first. One of the great voices in American Lit who writes about things every girl/woman can identify with in the most gorgeous prose.”

“Out of all three of Mary's memoir, this one blew me away with each paragraph. Every single one was filled to the brim with Mary's pure and cutting poetry. ”

Her descriptions of various acid trips had me reading like I was in a trance. What a funny/poignant /unconventional ending to a memoir. Loved it. ”
