The story goes on and discusses the life of the boy and his family. He has a lot of hard times he must overcome and the book describes the life in great detail.Reason Chosen: I chose this book because it is a definite classic. I believe that everyone should read this book because it is an awesome one. I absolutely loved reading this book and would recommend it to anyone who hasn’t read it.Use in Classroom: I would use this classroom as both a read aloud as well as a silent reading book. This book has a great story to it and can get a lot of people drawn into it really easily. I believe that many kids might have a connection to a story like this and this can be perfect to bring them into reading. Also, if they don’t have a connection they will most likely have a place in their heart for the boy in the story.”

“I enjoyed reading this book. I listened to this book on a Play Away. I prefer reading print books versus non print books. I wasn't impressed by the narration and often enjoy reading the book with my own voices when I read as opposed to listening to someone else read. However, I did find Bridge to Terabithia to be a touching story. I found it interesting how the friendship developed between Jess and Lesile, and to read about how Jess handled Lesile's death. Read Write Think has some worth while activities to go along with this book.
