I have not read the book, but I have seen the movie. And I must say, I was very dissappointed. I entered the theater, expecting an amazing adventure story, and only got a sad, depressing film, that didn't make much sense at all. It was 2 hours I will never get back.

For some reason, I actually like every single book that I have studied in school. It makes me appreciate the text far more than if I just study it by face value. The message meant a lot to me too, because it talks about how imagination is important and no matter how old we grow, we must not loose our imaginations, because with that, the world would be a more livable place.
