This is my favorite Burroughs. It's a recommended read for you who work in advertising --sober or not.

Just as enjoyable as running with scissors, the humor is all there.

You don't have to be an alcoholic or a recovering alcoholic to get into this book. Augusten Burroughs is a talented writer. Memoirs might be somewhat of the "it' thing right now, but his are worhty of all the attention.

Definitely felt a kinship with Augusten in this book since I spent the better part (or worse, depending on your take) of 15 years in advertising. And though I was lucky enough not to grapple with alcoholic or drug addictions throughout life, I can still understand the misery this poor guy went through. There were definitely some pee in your pants moments in this book!
