“I'm on page 74 of this 529 page epic, which won a Pulitzer Prize in 2003 for fiction. It's the kind of book you can pick up and put down because it goes on forever, just like life. Haven't gotten to anything yet that grips me. ”
“Is anyone having trouble getting into this supposedly great book?”
“can't seem to put it down - I am almost finished reading and I have loved it, it sucked me in far more than I could have imagined - I highly recommend”

“I'm really surprised to hear that people got bored with this one; I felt like I slipped through it without ever catching a snag. The voice was so effusive, it contrasted so nicely with Virgin Suicides (which I didn't really connect with the first time, but like a lot as a complimentary piece).”
“Does anyone know why he calls his brother Chapter 11??”
