There are two threads running through this absolutely thrilling adventure: the history behind the actual sinking of this ship and the modern-day life of the ship's recoverer, including the story of how he goes about finding the ship and bringing it and its incredible treasure to the surface and ultimately to the bank. This was one of those books for me -- one I could not put down until I had read through the night to finish it.”

The combination of history with technological innovations keeps things moving along, and at the end of the day it is a triumph of perseverance and innovation.
