Book 1 of the Orcs: Bad Blood series

“Orcs: Bad blood by Stan Nicholls is a fantasy novel that portrays orcs as heroes and humans as well, villains. It follows the story of a particular warrior band of orcs called Wolverines. Like many fantasy novels, this story revolves around mythical artifacts. Thankfully, it is not a ring. It is inter dimensional portal opening thingies called instrumentalities. The author has described every battle in this book in detail and mind you, there are a trifle too many battles in this book. So this book would be a good read for a fantasy reader who wants some blood and gore. For others, choose another book. This book is surprisingly funny at some points as well.”

“This was an interesting take on the usual sword and sorcery. The Orcs are the GOOD guys. It would have been more appealing to me if I was in the mood for sword and sorcery at the time I borrowed it from the library.”
