The order I read them was by whichever I found in a secondhand bookshop first, so I started with Breakfast of Champions, which is still my favourite, and expanded outwards into his world. Slaughter house five is a separate book from the world of the others.”

I wish I could pinpoint exactly why I like this book so much. The first time I read it, it was out of "duty" - it's one of those books that "everyone" says you must read. But as it turns out, this is one of maybe 10 or 20 books I find myself rereading periodically and I never get tired of it, never stop looking at it with fresh eyes. I buy a copy, loan it to someone and then have to buy a new one because I never get it back. I'd like to think those copies go out like a literary virus, infecting others Kurt Vonnegut. I think it's time I got a new copy.”

There once was this fantastic book about life, death and everything in between, and so it goes. This is one of those books that I love, but find hard to put into words. I think everyone should read this at least once.”
